How far in advance should I book a parade float?
Lead time depends on float complexity. Standard branded floats with vehicle wrap and basic decoration typically need four to six weeks from brief approval. Fully custom-built floats with bespoke props and complex lighting typically need eight to twelve weeks. We strongly recommend booking parade floats at least eight to twelve weeks in advance, particularly for the Pride season (June to July) and the Lord Mayor’s Show (November), where demand is at its highest.
Do you handle parade permits and compliance?
Yes — full parade compliance and permit management is included in every parade float hire. We coordinate directly with parade organisers, handle congestion charge payments, provide all health and safety documentation, ensure vehicle and AV compliance with parade rules, and supply qualified drivers for every vehicle.
