Allianz Paralympic Torch Relay
A 7-city LED ShowTruck activation across Italy supporting the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Torch Relay — built for visibility, energy and seamless delivery from Rome to Verona
The brief
This was not a standard roadshow with fixed venues and long setup windows. The Allianz LED ShowTruck campaign moved through 7 Italian cities in a live event environment, with each stop needing to feel polished, branded and ready to engage the public quickly.
Allianz needed a mobile activation format that could support entertainment, screen-based content and strong visual presence in busy public spaces. It also had to work both as a static event focal point and as a moving activation during the later route stages of the Paralympic Torch Relay.
The objective
The role of the LED ShowTruck was to help Allianz extend the reach of the Paralympic Torch Relay and give the campaign a visible presence in key Italian cities. Public event stops needed to feel like real moments, not just branded appearances, with enough impact to draw people in and enough flexibility to keep the programme moving.
The wider Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Torch Relay spanned 13 stages over 11 days and involved 501 torchbearers, including 200 Allianz employees and agents, making it a major national activation with strong public visibility.

The solution
To meet the brief, The Clear Idea delivered our LED ShowTruck as the central vehicle for the activation. The unit gave the campaign a bold, instantly recognisable structure that could be deployed efficiently across different environments while keeping the experience consistent from city to city.
Its dual 5-metre LED screens, integrated sound and elevated deck made the LED ShowTruck well suited to this kind of campaign. It could work as a mobile stage, a content platform and a branded landmark, helping Allianz create a stronger public presence at each stop without relying on a heavy temporary build every time.
The Allianz activation was built around 4 core objectives:
Public Visibility
Create a strong Allianz presence across the tour.
Community Engagement
Bring the Paralympic spirit closer to local audiences.
Touring Flexibility
Use one format that could move smoothly from city to city.
Reliable Delivery
Keep the activation fast to deploy and easy to run.

On the LED ShowTruck Tour Across Italy
The LED ShowTruck route covered seven activation points across Italy: Rome, Bari, Naples, Bologna, Venice, Padua and Verona. These stops supported the Flame Visits and the final moving route phase leading into the Opening Ceremony in Verona.
At each location, the LED ShowTruck created a focal point for music, energy, content and crowd attention. Early stops turned city squares into branded event spaces, while later stages saw the vehicle shift into a more mobile role, bringing visuals and atmosphere directly alongside the route.
Why the LED ShowTruck Worked for This Campaign
The strength of the LED ShowTruck format was its balance between impact and practicality. For a campaign like the Paralympic Torch Relay, the vehicle needed to look strong in public spaces, carry digital content clearly, and still be dependable enough to move quickly between locations.
That is exactly where a purpose-built LED ShowTruck performs well. It gives the client one repeatable event platform that can be adapted to different stops, rather than rebuilding the activation from scratch each time. In this case, that helped Allianz maintain a clear visual identity across all 7 Italian cities while keeping the delivery efficient.

Full delivery
The Clear Idea’s role was not just to supply the LED ShowTruck. We handled the planning and operational delivery needed to keep the activation moving smoothly across all 7 Italian cities.
That included vehicle preparation, branding integration, transport coordination, route logistics and on-site setup. For a live, multi-city campaign linked to a major sporting event, that end-to-end delivery is what helped the Allianz team stay focused on the activation itself rather than the mechanics behind it.

Project summary
Delivered in partnership with Louder for Allianz and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, this activation brought together mobility, digital content and live public engagement in one touring format.
The result was a practical but high-impact solution that helped Allianz show up clearly across an important national moment.
