Harley-Davidson partnered with The Clear Idea to create a motorcycle brand activation at MotoGP Silverstone that brought its Road Glide ‘Bagger’ racing story to life.

The goal was to connect MotoGP fans directly with Harley’s race-spec bikes through a high-impact, immersive experience in the Silverstone paddock — combining motorcycle display, retail, hospitality, and hands-on interaction in a single activation footprint.

The Pulse Drop Deck — Harley's Mobile Motorcycle Showcase

The Clear Idea configured a Pulse Drop Deck unit as Harley-Davidson’s mobile display centre at MotoGP Silverstone. The sleek, modular structure provided a bold branded backdrop — showcasing Harley’s race-spec Road Glide ‘Bagger’ motorcycles at close range.

With its low-level access and expandable footprint, the Pulse Drop Deck drew fans in from across the paddock and delivered the unmistakable energy of the Harley-Davidson racing brand.

Interactive Leaning Bike Stand — The Crowd Favourite

To make the brand activation unforgettable, The Clear Idea added a custom interactive leaning bike stand to the Pulse Drop Deck setup.

Visitors could sit on a real race-prepped Harley-Davidson and lean into turns like the MotoGP riders — creating the ultimate photo moment and one of the most talked-about experiences in the Silverstone paddock.

Inside the Pulse Drop Deck — The Harley Hub

“Inside the Pulse Drop Deck, the activation went beyond motorcycle display. Fans explored a branded graphic wall featuring Harley’s Daytona racing heritage, a boutique retail zone with merchandise, and a dedicated hospitality space for media interviews and meet-and-greets.

The atmosphere delivered the premium, authentic feel that Harley-Davidson’s racing legacy demands — turning a single unit into a complete brand experience.

LiveWire Mobile Showcase, Milwaukee

To mark 120 years of Harley-Davidson, The Clear Idea helped the brand launch its first electric motorcycle range — LiveWire — through a mobile brand activation that travelled from Milwaukee to Sturgis.

The goal was to create a bold, immersive showcase that celebrated Harley’s heritage while introducing a new era of electric performance to thousands of riders across two of America’s biggest motorcycle events.

120th Anniversary Launch Event

The LiveWire brand activation made its debut at Veterans’ Park in Milwaukee during Harley-Davidson’s 120th Anniversary Festival. Over 7,000 visitors explored the new electric models, joined live demonstrations, and experienced Harley’s latest innovation at close range.

The Pulse Trailer — a 44-foot expandable unit — unfolded in minutes, transforming into a fully branded environment with bikes, AV, and merchandise on display.

The Pulse Trailer — Harley's Expandable Showcase Unit

With the push of a button, the Pulse Trailer expanded into a premium presentation hub for the LiveWire electric range. Inside, visitors found an 85-inch AV screen, integrated Sonos sound, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a ‘night mode’ that lit the space in Harley’s signature neon purple.

Built in Denver and transported to Milwaukee, the Pulse Trailer became the centrepiece of Harley’s 120th Anniversary celebrations before heading to the world-famous Sturgis Bike Rally.

Hands-On Electric — Test Rides and Pre-Orders

At the heart of the LiveWire brand activation was hands-on engagement.

Visitors could sit on the electric bikes, explore the design at close range, and pre-order their own LiveWire models directly from the showcase. In nearby Deadwood, Harley hosted a test-drive centre that let riders feel the electric power firsthand — turning curiosity into genuine connection with the brand’s electric future.

Deployment and Visual Impact — Milwaukee to Sturgis

“The LiveWire showcase stood out among thousands of traditional motorcycles at both events. By day, the Pulse Trailer functioned as a high-tech hospitality suite and product display; by night, it glowed with Harley’s signature neon lighting, drawing crowds from across the festival grounds.

Designed for rapid mobility and maximum visual impact, the Pulse Trailer could be fully deployed in under 15 minutes — matching Harley-Davidson’s own drive for speed and innovation.

Client Feedback

“The expandable showcase was very eye-catching and easy to set up.

Thanks again for partnering with LiveWire for our 120th anniversary and at Sturgis. We were glad to make such a big impact at these events and your expandable showcase was a huge part of that.”
