Why Clear Box?

This special box is part of Tesla’s latest campaign to show off their cars. It’s designed to be towed by the Cybertruck, helping to promote Tesla’s cars in a unique way. Here’s what makes the box special:

  • Transparent Windows: All four sides of the box are clear, so people can see the car from any angle.
  • LED Ceiling and Air Conditioning: These keep the car cool and well-lit, making it look even better.
  • Battery Pack: There’s a battery on board that powers the lights and air conditioning, even when the box isn’t plugged in. This is great for showing off the car at different places without needing external power.
  • Loading Ramps: These ramps make it easy to drive the car in and out of the box.
  • Space for the Public: When the car isn’t in the box, it can be turned into a public space with tables and chairs. It’s a smart way to use the box for different events.
  • Easy Access for Everyone: The box has steps and handrails that attach to it, making it easy for people to get in and check it out.

Tesla Y Setting New Records

The Tesla Model Y has achieved an incredible milestone, surpassing household names like the Toyota Corolla and RAV4 to become the world’s top-selling vehicle. This achievement aligns with Elon Musk’s foresight. After the Q1 2021 earnings call, Musk confidently stated that the Model Y was on track to be “the world’s most popular vehicle based on revenue in 2022 and possibly total units in 2023.” True to his word, the Model Y sold 1.23 million units last year, marking a historic success for Tesla.

Journey to the Public

This box didn’t just pop up out of nowhere. It was made with care and then shipped from the UK to New York. From there, it went to Chicago for some final tweaks to make sure it met US standards. These changes were all about making sure the box was perfect for showing off Tesla’s cars in the US.

After getting all set up, the box was delivered to Tesla in Florida. There, the Tesla team got a quick training session on how to use everything. This whole process, from start to finish, took about 7 weeks.

Making Waves

As soon as the Cybertruck hit the road, people noticed. Social media lit up with pictures and talk about the Cybertruck towing the Model Y in a clear box. It was a hit, showing that sometimes, the best way to stand out is to keep it simple and let the product shine.
